Aleratec Launches HDD Copy Cruiser High-Speed WL Series with Logging

The HDD Copy Cruiser High-Speed WL family includes an 11-target and a 5-target version for fast duplication and sanitization of SATA hard disk drives. In addition to offering the latest duplication and sanitization methods, both units include real-time progress monitoring and logging.

Stand-alone devices that do not require a computer to operate, the 1:11 and 1:5 HDD Copy Cruiser High-Speed WL support 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and solid state drives as well as 2.5-inch SATA/SSD drives with optional Aleratec adapters available separately for purchase. Perfect clones of hard disk drives are executed quickly and include sector-by-sector copies from a single source hard disk, with both partition and boot sector information.
Sanitization is completed quickly with several available methods including Secure Erase, 1-Pass Overwrite, 3-Pass Overwrite with Verify and a third-party certified DOD 7-Pass Overwrite sanitization function. A credential given to Aleratec products by a leading forensic data recovery firm, certified sanitization confirms that all digital data stored on hard drives sanitized by the 7-Pass Overwrite function is forensically unrecoverable and meets the criteria set forth in NIST 800-88.
