(PRWEB UK) 30 December 2013 -- According to an article published in the Leicester Mercury on the 17th of December, 2013, a man armed with a knife allegedly threatened Shell petrol station staff in a successful attempt to rob them of the cash in their tills. The attack occurred early in the morning and nobody was hurt. Police have released an image caught on the petrol station’s CCTV security systems. Police wish to speak with the man in relation to the crime, believing that he may have information that could assist the case.
The man allegedly threatened the petrol station staff and took off with the money without harming anyone, although police are concerned that he may offend again.
The suspect allegedly caught on camera is said to be white, between 5’ and 5’10’’ and of a medium build. During the attack he was said to be wearing a yellow hat, a grey tracksuit and a black coat. The man should be considered armed and dangerous. Police request that anyone with information contacts Detective Con Brooks on 101.
