Alger Expands DCIO and Retirement Platforms Team
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 12, 2016 -- Fred Alger & Company, Incorporated (“Alger”) is pleased to announce the addition of two experienced retirement industry professionals, Eric Seidman, Vice President, and Jeff Vigilante, Assistant Vice President. The addition of Eric and Jeff will enhance Alger’s ability to partner with and support Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) platforms, financial advisors, and intermediaries.
In their new positions, Eric and Jeff focus on growing Alger’s presence and assets on retirement platforms. Along with the existing retirement team and Alger’s Regional Marketing Managers, both Eric and Jeff will expand Alger’s service, support, and resources to investment professionals across the retirement landscape. In conjunction with Alger’s existing sales organization, they will also champion the firm’s DCIO initiatives with financial advisors.

Eric is a retirement plan veteran with a proven track record of success. He has more than nine years of experience working with retirement advisors and platforms, most recently as Vice President, Account Manager in Retirement Investment Solutions at Prudential Financial, Inc. Prior to that position, Eric held various retirement roles at Prudential, including Retirement Plan Relationship Manager, Associate Account Manager, and Internal Wholesaler. Eric graduated with a B.A. from Rutgers University. He holds securities registrations for Series 6, 7, and 63.
Jeff has more than six years of experience in the DCIO market, most recently as a Retirement Specialist for the DCIO channel at Prudential Investments. Prior to that, Jeff was a Senior Internal Wholesaler for the Wirehouse Channel at Prudential, and prior to that role, Jeff was a Financial Advisor with Thrivent Financial. Jeff graduated with a B.S. from Montclair State University. He holds securities registrations for Series 7 and 66.
In addition to adding resources to the DCIO and Retirement Markets team, Alger recently launched its value-add program for financial advisors who specialize in providing defined contribution plans for their clients, “Think Further for Retirement.” This unique program is designed to assist advisors in delivering much needed education about retirement for plan participants. The program also helps plan sponsors think differently about how to improve their retirement plan offering.
