AlignLife Donates Over 700 Toys This Year
National (PRWEB) December 25, 2014 -- Over 700 toys, that’s what AlignLife clinics gave back to their local communities. That is 700 smiling little faces this holiday that might not have received a single gift. Additionally over $6000 in monetary donations was given to the various charities as well to help offset some of the expenses they incur through the year. Some of the charities chosen for this years drive were A Child's Haven, Shrine's Children's Hospitals, Toys for Tots and Crisis Nurseries, even adopting kids through other various charitable organizations. Each year the doctors challenge one another to do better than the year before, next year AlignLife predicts they will be able to give back over 1000 toys to their communities. A clinic in Springfield, Illinois owned by Dr. Bryne Willey also took a $5000 donation for their local charity. The upstate South Carolina AlignLife clinics accumulated over 300 toys to give back in a joint effort to raise awareness in their area.
When asked why a Toy Drive, when everywhere you go there is a box to donate toys "We do things a little differently, we are doing this because it is the right thing to do and because it gives us two avenues to serve our community". AlignLife utilizes the Toy Drive in another way to give back as well. In exchange for donated toys the doctors donate their time. Each person to donate toys receives for themselves or a loved one a free examination. The doctors hope this two fold event allows more and more people every year to become more educated on their spinal health and the impact it has on their entire body. Each year from the end of November through around December 20th, participating AlignLife locations accept donations at the clinics to support charitable organizations in their local communities.
