All-New Third Generation MINI Wows at World Premiere on Route to Coopermini Showrooms
Oxford (PRWEB UK) 26 January 2014 -- Coopermini, the UK’s largest authorised MINI dealership, is set to stock the brand-new third generation MINI, code-named the F56, across its UK locations on its arrival in the UK. The MINI F56 made a splash during its debut at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this month due to its bulkier dimensions, refreshed looks throughout and technological advancements.
The revamped MINI has grown bigger in all dimensions, which not only boosts practicality but gives the model a more sedate and cool veneer. The new hallmark emotional, yet bulkier design takes the edge off its predecessors more imposing looks with neat touches, including: chrome borders around the head and brake lights, a less imposing front grille and more subtle bodywork styling.
The biggest improvements come in the shape of technological advances that help the brand-new MINI be more economical, but without losing any of its trademark drive and performance. Engineering tweaks include a new lightweight BMW UKL1 platform; precise steering adjustments; an advanced braking system with increased energy efficiency and adaptive suspension.
The refresh continues inside the cabin with a new head-up display using a LED-lit dial system to impart visual feedback to the driver when on the move. New driver assists are abundant in the all-new MINI, which include a rear parking camera as well as camera-based cruise control and initial braking assists. These will be joined by a host of innovative internet connectivity for the driver with access to social networks and real time traffic information.
Matt Dalton, Divisional Marketing Manager of Coopermini, is “excited” by the imminent arrival of the third generation MINI on British shores, saying: “The whole team can’t wait to get their hands on the brand-new MINI that looks set deliver the same levels of driving dynamism we expect, but more economically and efficiently. It’s going to be exciting to sell the new MINI that pushes the boundaries of driver assist technology and in-cabin connectivity.
“We are expecting a rush for the all-new MINI and would advise any motorists looking to get behind the wheel of one first to book a test drive at their local Coopermini, showroom early to avoid disappointment,” he added.
