All-Video Small Business Website Launches
Boston, MA (PRWEB) December 01, 2016 -- BusinessTown.com, a website featuring more than 700 free how-to videos designed to help people start and run a business, launches this month. The videos cover every aspect of business from "7 Keys to Starting a Successful Business" and "The Best and Worst Businesses You Can Start" to "How to Ask Friends and Family to Finance Your Business" and "Cheap Marketing Tricks that Work."
"BusinessTown is like the Netflix of business," says founder Bob Adams. "We offer an extensive library of business videos that takes viewers through every aspect of building a successful business."
"We have kept the videos very short, typically 3-4 minutes, and filled them with actionable ideas so that busy entrepreneurs can quickly zero in on their subject of choice, watch the video and be on their way to making tangible improvements in their businesses."
While much of the content was based on Adams' myriad business experiences, 45 other business experts also offer their advice on topics, such as "Turning Your Idea Into a Business," "How to Gain Market Share with Limited Resources," "Master Email Marketing Metrics," and "4 Alternatives to Traditional Financing."
There's also the "BusinessTown Today" show, featuring business owners sharing their trials and tribulations, along with Q&As, a short advice segment called "Steps to Business Greatness," "Offbeat Business News," and "Rant and Rave."
Adams believes that "anyone can succeed in business." In the video "5 Myths About Starting Your Own Business," Adams claims that you don't need a lot of money, a lot of time, a lot of experience or even a great idea to build a thriving enterprise.
However, Adams acknowledges that there is no guarantee of success in business. He claims obvious ingredients for success, such as having lots of money, are overrated. Instead, he emphasizes the importance of such factors as choosing a likely to succeed business idea, having a truly differentiated business strategy, having a great business plan, and having a nimble and clever approach to marketing.
Adams is a serial entrepreneur who turned a $1,500 investment into Adams Media Corporation, one of the largest independent book publishers in the US, before selling it to F+W for $40 million. Adams has written numerous business books and holds a Harvard MBA.
