Allegheny Health Network Unveils New AHN Women Brand, Highlighting Depth and Growth of AHN’s Women’s Services
PITTSBURGH, Pa (PRWEB) September 26, 2017 -- Marketing campaign launched this week includes 365 consecutive days of individual women’s stories, signature green sofa as setting for women’s candid conversations
Home to the region’s highest-rated health system for medical excellence in women’s health, and its fastest-growing labor and delivery services, Allegheny Health Network this week is launching a new creative brand – AHN Women – that will unify all of the Network’s programs and facilities for women and reflect the deep and growing breadth of services AHN provides to women of all ages and stages of life.
From West Penn Hospital’s long history of outstanding service to women and infants to the just-announced plans for a new AHN Women and Infants Center at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, to the Network’s leading women’s health programs in cardiology, orthopaedics, rheumatology and other specialties, AHN’s commitment to quality, innovation and expanding resources in women’s health has positioned it as a leader in the market.
CareChex@ has named AHN the highest-rated health system in western Pennsylvania for medical excellence in women’s health, and Saint Vincent as the highest-rated hospital in Erie for medical excellence in women’s health.
“AHN Women symbolizes the personalized, high quality care we offer women at all stages of life, and the commitment we have made to continue advancing and growing our programs to meet the diverse needs of our patients and the communities we serve” said Allan Klapper, MD, AHN’s Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
“Just a few years ago, at a time when maternity units nationwide were closing, we opened a new AHN Women’s and Infants Center at Jefferson Hospital in Pittsburgh’s South Hills, giving women from that area a close-to-home option for delivering their babies,” Dr. Klapper said. “Having four labor and delivery centers – at West Penn, Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Jefferson and Saint Vincent – provides women with convenient choices when deciding where they want to deliver their babies.”
“And our nearly 50 OBGYN practices located throughout western Pennsylvania offer women the opportunity to choose a healthcare provider close to home who is best suited to their personal needs for every medical issue, from prevention and wellness, to gynecologic surgery, gynecologic oncology, infertility, urogynecology, midlife care and beyond,” Dr. Klapper said.
To help introduce the new AHN Women brand, the network launched an advertising campaign this week with a tagline that captures its comprehensive women’s health capabilities: “All of her. All of her life.”
The campaign features real AHN female patients talking on a green sofa about their shared health experiences, including pregnancy, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, a parent’s life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and more.
“These exceptional women met for the first time on-camera at an AHN facility and just talked, openly and honestly, and we had the unique privilege of hearing and capturing those conversations. Their hopes, their fears, and their experiences. It was emotional, insightful, and educational. And now we want to share their stories to not only help elevate the community’s understanding of the great care AHN provides for women but to help other women out there understand they too are not alone in their health circumstance,” said Cindy Donohoe, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Highmark Health.
AHN Women stories will premiere as long-format commercials during shows such as Empire, Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS. The campaign also features billboards, local cinemas, magazine, newspaper, and digital ads.
Another highlight of the campaign is a plan to feature a different woman’s story every day for the next year on digital and social media platforms.
