Allegis Partners and the Directors Academy Collaborate to Identify and Advance the Next Generation of Diverse Board Members and Future Board Leaders
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 20, 2017 -- Allegis Partners (AP), the exclusive executive search partner for the national not-for-profit Directors Academy, announced today that it is partnering with the Academy to enhance the NextGen Directors Program. The Program, established by the Academy, is a peer-to-peer learning environment offering educational classes and networking opportunities, designed to accelerate the development and proactive placement of the next generation of corporate board members.
The NextGen Directors Program also aims to accelerate shareholder value creation by building a pipeline of highly credentialed prospective board members from diverse backgrounds, experiences, ethnicities and genders; and disrupt the current board selection process by educating, exposing and socializing the next generation of diverse board members to good governance practices, and then proactively matching this talent to current and future board opportunities.

The Directors Academy is expanding the NextGen Directors Program to a national initiative with member classes in San Francisco on September 21-22, 2017 and in New York on November 2-3, 2017. Classes are limited to 15-20 participants to ensure an intimate learning environment, and exceptional and ongoing networking opportunities.
The Academy faculty is being further developed by collaborating with the FT Outstanding Directors Exchange, which holds off-the-record, annual meetings for sitting public company directors and CEOs across industry sectors enabling them to discuss critical boardroom concerns.
