Ausin, Texas (PRWEB) January 28, 2015 -- Interactive patient engagement solutions leader Allen Technologies Inc. has appointed Alan Davis to lead its technology and R&D activities as vice president of products and technologies.
Davis brings more than 20 years of experience in technology leadership and product development to his new role at the Austin-based Allen Technologies, which works with hospitals across the U.S. to drive improvement in patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes and operational efficiencies through leading-edge interactive patient engagement technology. In his new role, Davis will set the direction for Allen Technologies’ product roadmap and next-generation offerings to educate and engage patients while also reducing operational costs for health care organizations.

He was the chief technology officer for Ignite! Learning, Saber Data and Educational Resources. His background includes extensive experience in developing comprehensive curriculum and training programs for K-12 education, and telemedicine and healthcare IT programs.
“Alan has a keen grasp of the challenges facing healthcare providers to improve outcomes and clinical efficiencies, and the value that Allen Technologies’ leading-edge interactive patient education technology solutions are delivering to hospitals,” said Jerry Folsom, President/CEO. “He brings deep experience in both healthcare and education curriculum IT leadership and shares our customer-driven company focus. He will play an instrumental role in interfacing with our clients as we further engage our customer user groups.”
