Alliance Safety Council Appoints Chief Innovation Officer
Baton Rouge, La. (PRWEB) December 20, 2016 -- Alliance Safety Council recently welcomed Scott Edwards as chief innovation officer. In this position, Edwards will lead the development of the next generation of Alliance’s learning ecosystem that will provide the organization’s members with an enhanced experience and a broad set of training and career development initiatives.

Edwards is an experienced learning technologist with over 20 years’ experience in managing learning strategies and solutions. He was a co-founder of OutStart Inc. where he was responsible for the entire learning solution portfolio, which included the first commercial Learning Content Management System (LCMS), a Learning Management System (LMS), and both social and mobile learning platforms. He is a regular speaker at learning conferences where he can be found evangelizing about future learning trends and technologies. Most recently, Edwards worked for IBM and was responsible for the learning portfolio within the company’s Smarter Workforce division.
