Allied Environmental Services, Inc. Acquires New Ohio Facility
Lima, Ohio (PRWEB) August 22, 2014 -- Headquartered in northwest Ohio, Allied Environmental Services, Inc. According to Steve Carr, Allied CEO, the new facility also allows the firm to consolidate shop, equipment and administrative functions. “For the past few years, we have operated our field services shop, storage facilities and administrative staff from separate facilities in the Lima area. This created some inefficiencies and logistics issues for us,” stated Carr. “The new facility offers a large warehouse and office space, and gives us over 6 acres of land to use for equipment staging, with plenty of room for expansion. Not to mention the improved logistical considerations,” he added. The firm’s decision to stay in Lima, Ohio was the result of heavy ties to the petrochemical industry in northwest Ohio. Stated Carr, “We absolutely wanted the headquarters to stay in Lima. The assistance we provide the Lima Refinery, local chemical plants and pipeline facilities made that an easy decision”.
The firm is already operating field crews out of the new facility. Administrative offices will be relocated once some building renovations are completed. The firm plans to complete the relocation of all administrative and field operations to the new facility by the first week of October. Allied will issue a formal notice to clients and vendors once the move is complete.
