Allsup Presents “What You Need to Know About Social Security Disability Insurance,” for Colon Cancer Alliance Webinar Series
Belleville, Ill. (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 -- The Colon Cancer Alliance (CCA) is hosting the webinar, "What You Need to Know about Social Security Disability Insurance," on February 18th, 6 to 7 p.m. CST. Representatives from Allsup, the nation's premier Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) representation company, will explain how SSDI works, including program eligibility, ways to break through the current application backlog, and specific information for individuals with colon cancer.

"In fact, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosis in SSDI applications. During the webinar, Venuti and Allsup senior claimant representative Ed Swierczek will discuss the full range of SSDI benefits, including dependent benefits, Medicare eligibility and return to work support. They also will provide practical advice on how to approach the SSDI application process.
"As approval rates for SSDI applications decrease, and the backlog of claims grows, it is more important than ever to do everything possible to avoid mistakes in the initial application," said Venuti. "People approved at the initial level don't have to go through appeals, which could add years to their wait."
