AlohaNAP Datacenter and Interconnection Facility Debuts at PTC’15 Conference

The facility will be represented at the Pacific Telecommunications Council’s 2015 conference, held January 18th-21st in Honolulu.
1547 and HPT have come together to create AlohaNAP, a premier carrier-neutral datacenter facility with access to trans-Pacific submarine cable systems, local fiber providers, key enterprise customers, and a diverse fleet of 40+ satellites. Their joint effort has created a unique ”meet-me” point for both communications and businesses by facilitating the convergence of fiber and satellite telecommunications, as well as the ability for tenants to cross-sell services across lines of business.
The AlohaNAP facility, located 2 miles inland and 130 feet above sea level, currently offers a 10,000ft2 turnkey datacenter space incorporating fully redundant power and 24/7 biometric and physical security measures. Plans for the site include an additional 50,000 square feet of white space.
