ALOM Announces Chief Technology Officer and VP Operations Promotions
Fremont, CA (PRWEB) May 15, 2014 -- To strategically deliver technology and operations excellence to its growing worldwide client and supplier base, ALOM, a global leader in supply chain management, has announced the promotion of Brandon Marugg to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Subu Subramanian to the position of Vice President of Operations.

In the position of CTO, Mr. Marugg is responsible for driving ALOM’s technology vision across the organization and developing a wide variety of global supply chain management IT initiatives. Over the past 10 years, as technology has become inherently linked with the corporate supply chain, ALOM technology solutions have become one of the company’s most important competitive advantages. Mr. Marugg will oversee ALOM’s global development teams and brings over 14 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining all facets of corporate technology solutions. Mr. Marugg joined ALOM in 2001 and previous to this promotion held the position of Director of Information Technology.
As Vice President of Operations, Mr. Subramanian brings over 25 years of supply chain experience to his highly visible and strategic position. Mr. Subramanian will be responsible for all facets of ALOM global operations, including strategic supply chain planning, risk analysis, compliance management, facility maintenance, security, production and inventory management. Mr. Subramanian joined ALOM in 2008 and previous to this promotion served as Director of Operations where he consistently has been achieving world-class quality levels and has been instrumental in achieving a number of accolades and certifications.
These promotions take place as ALOM is experiencing significant growth, doubling revenues over the last three years.
