ALOM Expands North America Presence with Indiana Industrial Hub
Fremont, CA (PRWEB) September 13, 2017 -- ALOM, a global leader in supply chain management, has announced its opening of a new 48,000 square foot fulfillment and distribution hub located in Indianapolis, IN. With this move ALOM is expanding its service capacity in North America to meet growing market demand and reduce delivery times for its e-commerce and retail channel fulfillment clients in the Midwest and Eastern US regions.

The new Midwestern regional hub illustrates ALOM’s 20-year track record of growth and innovation. Launched in Silicon Valley in 1997, ALOM seized the opportunity to enable technology-driven clients to focus on innovation by outsourcing entire segments of their supply chain. Over the next two decades, ALOM would expand globally and seamlessly fulfill a wide array of business functions.
With the opening of the Midwest location, ALOM is enhancing economic opportunities in the region. Aided by support from Indiana state and local incentives and the ease of doing business there, ALOM will serve clients with responsive service and regionalized inventory levels. ALOM’s order management technology intelligently routes orders to the ALOM facility closet to the final destination, minimizing time in transit, transportation cost, and environmental impact.
Once fully staffed, ALOM expects the facility to employ between 30 and 50 employees depending on the season.
