ALOM Wins Two 2014 Global Women in Business Stevie® Awards
Fremont, CA (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- ALOM staff and management have been named winners in two 2014 Global Women in Business Stevie® Award categories. ALOM Senior Quality Manager Michelle Remoaldo won a Gold Stevie award being named Global Employee of The Year – Business. The ALOM senior management team earned a group award being named winners of the Bronze award in the Management Team of the Year category.
Nicknamed the Stevie’s for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners November 14 during a dinner event attended by more than 400 people at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
Remoaldo accepted her Gold award for Employee of the Year. Lisa Dolan, Vice President, Supply Chain Strategy at ALOM, accepted the Bronze award for Management Team of the Year. “On behalf of our clients and staff, ALOM is proud to receive the esteemed Stevie award in two very competitive categories, each recognizing operational innovation and excellence in quality management that we as a company extend to our clients and their customers,” Dolan said.
The ALOM entries stood out and received recognition for demonstrated operational excellence, dedication to quality, and business growth. Remoaldo is a nine-year employee in the Silicon Valley Headquarters. Building on ALOM’s ISO 9000 certification, Remoaldo spearheaded ALOM’s certification to ISO 13485 for medical devices and to the strict TL 9000 standard for telecommunications suppliers. She was also integral in making ALOM one of only two companies in the world having achieved the DMSCA 3.0 certification. Under her leadership, the company is achieving six sigma quality levels.
The management team was recognized for bringing together a diverse group of people with high-level skill set to sustain ALOM’s growth, excellence and leadership.
