ALP Music Participates in 7th Annual “The All Things Michigan Party” in Support of C.A.T.C.H
Dearborn, MI (PRWEB) July 15, 2015 -- On June 20th, Michiganders of all walks, including Michigan-based businesses ALP Music, M1 Video, Velvet Peanut Butter, Scotty O’Hotty, Manno Clothing & Tailoring, Hacienda Mexican Foods, and more, joined forces with hosts Kevin and Irene Watts (founders of the All Things Michigan Party) to participate in the party of all parties. The “All Things Michigan Party,” celebrates Michigan pride and raises funds for C.A.T.C.H.—Caring Athlete’s Team for Children’s and Henry Ford Hospitals. With over 15 contributing Michigan businesses, the silent auction raised over $1,800 dollars for C.A.T.C.H.
The “All Things Michigan Party” started as just another fun way for the Watts family to give back to their struggling state in a time of recession. The premise was, and continues to be, to serve food and drinks exclusively made and purchased from Michigan companies, to play music from Michigan-rooted bands, and to require all guests to sport Michigan-themed attire.
Michigan businesses big and small also participate—some donate free product samples and others donate items and services for the silent auction. As in years past, all of this year’s silent auction proceeds help C.A.T.C.H provide current and future funding sources to hospitals that help improve the quality of life for sick, injured, and pediatric patients who receive care from the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation and Henry Ford Health Systems.
ALP Music, a Detroit business that creates in-house musical compositions for all forms of multimedia, joined in the cause this year by providing “All Things Michigan” with a fully produced video of the event to help raise even more awareness for this special cause. With a music library filled with custom music, ALP helps clients create a captivating musical message that is unique to their brand.
The Watts family’s “All Things Michigan Party” is still a backyard party among like-minded friends; but the party and the group of friends have grown tremendously and will continue to support Michigan-based businesses and Michigan causes for years to come.
“ALP Music is thrilled to be working with the Watts family and supporting C.A.T.C.H and the All Things Michigan Party,” said Darrell Bazian, ALP Music Engineer and Composer.
“As a boutique music production library, it was an honor to produce a video and create a custom soundtrack that captured this event’s memories and brought them to life.”
ALP Music will continue to show their support and join C.A.T.C.H on July 19-20 for a golf prelude party at the MGM Grand Detroit Ballroom and the Meadowbrook Country Club in Northville, where you can purchase a sponsorship package or bid on incredible silent auction items, all in support of this amazing cause. ALP will be once again donating their services by producing a new marketing video to further support the CATCH foundation.
