American Academy of Thermology to Hold 2016 ATT Member Certification Qualification Courses for Technicians on Apr. 8 and Physicians on Apr. 9 & Sep. 9 in Greenville, SC
(PRWEB) January 20, 2016 -- The American Academy of Thermology (AAT) has announced the dates for its 2016 AAT Member Certification Qualification Course for Technicians and Physicians, respectively.
The 2016 AAT Member Certification Qualification Course for Technicians will take place on April 8 from 8:30am-4:30pm (all times Eastern) in Greenville, SC. For those who cannot attend, for the first time the AAT is also offering the course via webinar from 1:00pm-4:00pm on July 30 and August 6.
The 2016 AAT Member Certification Qualification Course for Physicians will take place on April 9 and September 9 from 8:30am-4:30pm. The latter date has been chosen to coincide with the AAT’s Annual Meeting.
All three in-person courses will be held at the Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital campus at the Bernadine Center (map and address).
“AAT Certification shows a candidate’s commitment to education and training in Medical Thermal Imaging,” commented Jeffrey J. Lefko, Executive Director of the AAT. “Successfully completing all of the components of an AAT Certification process means that the candidate has demonstrated the minimum necessary skills for the clinical administration of Medical Infrared Thermal Imaging, and has the knowledge base needed to articulate the pathophysiology under study.”
“Clinical instruction provided in the AAT Technician Certification Qualification Course will ensure that the technician’s technical operation and clinical imaging will comply with AAT Thermographic Guidelines,” commented Dr. Robert G. Schwartz, the Chair of the AAT, who also serves as the organization’s Principal Faculty Member. “These Guidelines include the Internationally Peer Reviewed Guidelines for Breast Thermography, and the AAT Guidelines for Neuromusculoskeletal Infrared Thermography.”
