American Casting & Manufacturing Recognizes Dedicated Employee, Al Micucci
PLAINVIEW, N.Y., Jan. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Cable seals manufacturer, American Casting and Manufacturing, recognizes Plant Manager, Al Micucci, for his hard work and dedication.

American Casting and Manufacturing recognizes Al Micucci this month. Micucci is currently the Plant Manager at American Casting and Manufacturing. He has been with the company for 40 years and 2 months.
Micucci started as a foreman in 1977. American Casting and Manufacturing quickly recognized his talent and sent him to graduate school to earn his MBA. Micucci became the Plant Manager in the early 1980s.
"My father started working for AC&M when I was just a 1 year old. He was the foreman of the Machine Shop until his early passing. I worked at American Casting during the summer, for him, after I was 18." Micucci said. "So, my family and I have been with American Casting and Manufacturing for a long time."
Micucci's primary responsibilities include hiring, overseeing file://srv-file-1/users$/rachel/Desktop/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_seal#Cable_seals [cable seal] factory employees, and acting as a liaison between the company and the Union and ownership and employees. He is also in charge of production scheduling and the day-to-day running of the factory.
"On a typical day, I review the previous days' shipments. I also make all the necessary labeling for new orders, collaborate with department heads, and address the day's needs," Micucci said. "Quality control is extremely important. We're an ISO 9001-2008 company. So, I also make sure that we're meeting quality standards as well."
Micucci enjoys finding new solutions to problems and is passionate about giving customers a product they can rely on and delivering it on time.
He's also passionate about having great people on his team, which he has. "The company has been very good to all of us and we all strive to do our best for the company." Micucci said.
