American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hosts Open House
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 17, 2015 -- The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) is a hosting an Open House event and Free Application Day on April 29. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the ACTCM Pioneer Square, located at 555 DeHaro St. in San Francisco, CA.
The agenda for the day is as follows:
11 a.m. – Check in at the DeHaro campus (room F)
11:10 a.m. – Introduction and welcome by admissions
11:45 a.m. – Tour of campus
Noon – Light lunch with current students, faculty and staff
1 p.m. – Observe clinic theater (room A)
3 p.m. – Meet with financial aid, academic advisor, student services and/or admissions counselors individually
In order to be eligible for the free application fee, prospective students must complete the following:
- Submit an online 2015-2016 FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov (ACTCM school code: 030782)
- Fill out an online application form at https://www.actcm.edu/application/ (for either Summer 2015 or Fall 2015 only)
- Provide one additional admissions document (personal statement, resume, official transcripts and/or letters of recommendation)

About the college:
Founded in 1980, ACTCM is one of the oldest Traditional Chinese Medicine colleges in the country and was the first in the nation to be approved to offer the Master's of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. ACTCM has been honored for its curriculum, faculty and acupuncture clinic, and voted "Best of the Bay" by both the San Francisco Weekly and the San Francisco Bay Guardian. The college has also been honored for its role in animal conservation and partnerships with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Save the Tiger Fund.
