American Cruise Lines Announces 2015 Holiday Cruises on the Mississippi River, Historic South and Golden Isles

Thanksgiving Cruise
Nov. 21st - Mississippi and Historic South & Golden Isles
American Cruise Lines has again partnered with Connecticut Food Bank to help feed the hungry by donating $50 per ticket sold on designated Thanksgiving cruises. In previous years, the line raised as much as $10,000 for the program, which helps put food on the tables of needy local residents and spread joy this holiday season.
In addition to helping those in need, guests will enjoy a Thanksgiving celebration in some of the most spectacular areas of the Mississippi or Historic South. Onboard, a team of world-class chefs will prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal and guests can join our Executive chef before to learn how he makes the cornucopia.
Southern Holiday Traditions and Christmas Cruise
Nov. 28, Dec. 5, 12 and 19th – Mississippi and Historic South & Golden Isles
New Orleans Roundtrip: This year’s special events include a tour of Oak Alley Plantation in its holiday splendor and a holiday concert in the music room of the beautifully preserved J.N. Stone House in the Historic Natchez. Onboard, guests will join a traditional Reveillon-style feast with mouth-watering regional favorites prepared by expert chefs. Gingerbread house and ornament making workshops will also be offered, as well as Christmas carol sing-alongs. This Christmas cruise on December 19th will feature a complimentary pre-night celebration, including dinner at Antoine's, one of New Orleans’ most historic and famous restaurants.

New Year’s Eve Cruise

New Year’s Eve cruises feature a complimentary pre-night celebration on December 26, which includes welcome festivities and exclusive dinners at the renowned McCrady’s Restaurant in Charleston (Historic South) and Antoine’s Restaurant in New Orleans (New Orleans Roundtrip). Onboard, guests will enjoy a specially-themed New Year’s Eve cocktail hour, dinner and evening entertainment, as well as a midnight countdown and champagne toast. A festive New Year’s Day brunch will also be featured.
