American Mothers Inc. to Profile 365 Mothers in 2014
Washington, DC (PRWEB) February 04, 2014 -- Every mother has a story. Some work multiple jobs to provide for their children while others stay home. Some became mothers through adoption while others have lost their children in tragic circumstances. Regardless of circumstance, simply being a mother carries its own challenges, struggles and rewards.
American Mothers, a non-profit dedicated to honoring mothers, is going to profile a mother’s story every day on their new blog, located at AmericanMothersBlog.com. Beginning with January 1, every day in 2014 will feature a different mother, along with the regular blog content that American Mothers has produced for several years.
“This organization was founded in 1935 to recognize the critical roles mothers play in society, and the 365 Mothers project will show that those roles are more important than ever,” says Joan Braitsch, President of American Mothers, Inc. “There will be stories that will make readers laugh, learn, cry, and be inspired. Most importantly, readers will feel a closer connection with what it means to be a mother.”
The 365 Mothers project offers stories about mothers in the news, unsung mothers, historical influencers, and everyday women. Early profiles have included Sara Delano Roosevelt, Ree Drummond, and Becky Fox Ortyl.
