American School to Attend Adventures in Homeschooling Conference
Lansing, IL (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- The American School will exhibit at the Adventures in Homeschooling Conference this weekend at the Red Lion Hotel Woodlake in Sacramento. Representatives will be available to talk with prospective students and their parents from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 4. Everyone who stops by the School's booth will have access to American School information packets, enrollment applications, and a variety of other promotional items.
The American School has been a leader in distance education since 1897 and today offers more than 70 accredited high school courses at a cost students can afford. Students can choose from the General High School Program or the College Preparatory Program, both of which contain 18 units of credit with room for electives. In addition, individual subjects are available for students who wish to supplement an existing homeschool program. Many of the courses are available in both paper-based and online formats, and online exams are available in select paper-based courses. The School also offers ACT and SAT prep courses through a partnership with Method Test Prep.
