Lansing, IL (PRWEB) October 03, 2016 -- American School is excited to make its first appearances at two national conventions happening during the month of October.
First up is the Annual Conference for Middle Level Education which is being held October 9-12 in Austin, Texas. American School will be in booth 803 at the Austin Convention Center on October 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on October 11 from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and looks forward to meeting middle school leaders from around the country.
"We launched our middle school program earlier this year and it's been very successful so far," American School President Gary R. Masterton said. "Attending a convention that brings together middle school leaders from around the country is a logical way to promote our online middle school courses to school leaders who may not be aware that we can help them and their students."
Shortly after the AMLE Conference, American School will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the Lutheran Education Association Convocation which runs from October 13-15. American School will be in booth 139 at DeVos Place Convention Center on October 13 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on October 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"The LEA Convocation occurs every three years, and we feel like this year is the perfect opportunity for us to attend for the first time," Masterton said. "We'll be promoting our new middle school courses for sure, but we also want to remind attendees that we've been a leader in distance education at the high school level for more than a century, and we have no plans to discontinue our online and paper-based courses and diploma programs for students in grades 9-12."
American School is accredited by MSA-CESS, Ai and NCPSA and is recognized by the state of Illinois as a non-public school. For more information, visit http://www.americanschool.org or call 708-418-2800.
