American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) Launches New Website and Member Management System
Wausau, WI (PRWEB) August 01, 2016 -- To better meet the needs of the association's 4000+ members, professionals and consumers worldwide, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc. (ASLMS) has launched a redesigned website and member management system.
The new aslms.org features upgraded resources for professionals, expanded resources for consumers, and a sophisticated member management system.
"We are very excited about the launch of our new website and association management system," said Kristen M. Kelly, MD, ASLMS President. "ASLMS, as a cutting edge society, has undergone a digital transformation. The site has been reorganized so information and resources are responsive and easy to find."
The website has resources for all medical professionals interested in laser and energy-based devices, including safety guidelines, standards of practice, and educational opportunities. In addition, there are specialized resources for students and those early in their careers, nursing and allied health professionals, and women in the energy-based technology field. ASLMS members have access to a wider array of resources and member services, including an enhanced member directory, online education, and smooth transaction processing for renewals, event registrations and abstract submissions.
Consumers can visit the expanded public area of the site to learn how lasers and energy-based devices are used in various specialties and common procedures and then visit the new physician locator service to find member Board Certified Physicians in the US and Canada.
