American Songwriting Awards Competition Begins

Organizers announce professional and amateur songwriters are now eligible for entry in one of the world’s biggest open songwriting contests of its kind.
The American Songwriting Awards presents an elite level competition with a prize package of over $25,000 for contest winners. Perhaps even better for those seeking a long-term music career, the top winners are honored at a gala concert awards ceremony at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in front of press, celebrity musicians and music industry professionals.
“This is a serious contest. We’re looking for rare talent,” states Joseph Paulos, executive director of the American Songwriting Awards. “Who is the next Rihanna or Justin Timberlake? We’re excited to find out and bring those voices to the world.”
