WASHINGTON, DC (PRWEB) September 06, 2016 -- The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) today announced a cooperative agreement with the Telemedicine Society of India (TSI). Together ATA and TSI hope to advance the practice of telemedicine to improve access, quality of care, and efficiency in the delivery of health services to citizens of both countries.
This landmark agreement between the two nations’ premiere telemedicine associations will allow them to work closely to improve relations between health and technology providers in India and the United States, starting with each organization’s members.
ATA and TSI will be collaborating to bring recognition to the industry and create connections between their members. The organizations have increased the opportunity for members from each association to network and share knowledge, including discounted membership and opportunities to attend conferences and special events.
“ATA is excited to be a part of this cooperative agreement with TSI,” said Jonathan Linkous, CEO of ATA. “This global partnership is an important step towards creating a global network of individuals, healthcare institutions, companies and other organizations practicing telemedicine.”
The two telehealth organizations will also collaborate in the near future on information documents, white papers, and other telemedicine related projects and programs aimed to increase the practice of telemedicine in both countries.
