American Water Resources Association Offers Webinar Series on Climate Change Adaptation
Middleburg, VA (PRWEB) January 24, 2016 -- The American Water Resources Association (AWRA) will host the first webinar of its 2016 program on February 3, 2016 at 1:00pm ET. Climate Change Adaptation: Flood, will feature presenters Bruce Mowry, city engineer, Miami Beach, FL; and Jordan Fischbach, co-director, Water and Climate Resilience Center as they lead a discussion on flood planning and adaptation strategies developed for Miami Beach and Coastal Louisiana. As always, PDH credit is available to all who attend the webinar.
This webinar will present management strategies that have been demonstrated to effectively improve resilience in U.S. coastal regions and cities prone to flooding. In addition to discussing solutions developed for Miami Beach and Coastal Louisiana, Mowry and Fischbach will also identify critical gaps and share lessons-learned to improve preparedness.
