Ameritas Life Completes Security Life Insurance Company of America Acquisition
Lincoln, NE (PRWEB) April 15, 2016 -- Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. (Ameritas), headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, announced it has completed the acquisition of Security Life Insurance Company of America (Security Life) and Security Health Insurance Company of America, New York, Inc. (Security Health), effective April 1, 2016.
Throughout 2016, the group division of Ameritas Life will transition existing Security Life business, working through Security Life’s general agent distribution network. This includes individual and group dental and vision plans.

The group division of Ameritas provides dental, vision and hearing care products and services, insuring or administering benefits for more than 6.4 million people nationwide.
