Amour d’Art to Donate 20% of Proceeds to Firefighter Relief Fund through October 31st
Los Gatos, California (PRWEB) September 26, 2015 -- Amour d’Art Gallery is proud to announce that 20% of all proceeds from fine art sales will go directly to the Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Firefighter Relief Fund through October 31st. The gallery has joined this fundraising effort to help the local heroes who’ve tirelessly helped fight the Valley Fire, and to thank them for all that they’ve done for communities in Northern California. Field of Dreams, Inc. – a nonprofit organization that provides outdoor opportunities for veterans, children of our fallen heroes, and children with special needs – hopes to raise enough through this fund to really make a difference.

Since Cal Fire has always been on-hand to help Field of Dreams with its annual Kids Fishing Day, the charity felt compelled to give back to these local heroes who’ve given so much to their communities. The nine victims who lost their own homes as they fought to control one of the worst fires in California history include a battalion chief, a communications officer, a fire captain, four firefighters, a fire apparatus engineer, and a retired heavy fire equipment operator. They deserve a helping hand in return.
