Amped Wireless Extends Dual Band Wi-Fi to 10,000 sq ft with a Tap of a Finger

The TAP-EX2 is a High Power Touch Screen AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender and was recently chosen as a 2015 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Honoree. Designed to boost any existing Wi-Fi network, the TAP-EX2 eliminates Wi-Fi dead spots and provides ultra-fast 802.11ac connections.
While this Range Extender is sleek and compact, it is a true powerhouse with the industry’s most simple setup. It boosts the signal of any Wi-Fi router by repeating and amplifying the signal, extending Wi-Fi coverage to areas like upstairs rooms, out to the yard, or to the far office. Standard Wi-Fi devices utilize only 50 to 200mW of output power. While the TAP-EX2 delivers up to 800mW of Wi-Fi output power, all in an attractive table-top design. More output power means more Wi-Fi range, it allows a signal to push through walls and eliminate Wi-Fi dead spots for good. With 6 total amplifiers and two high gain antennas (one dual band external, one internal), the TAP-EX2 provides up to 10,000 square feet of additional coverage.

The TAP-EX2 is a next gen 802.11ac range extender. It delivers simultaneous, dual band AC connections of up to 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz frequency and up to 433Mbps connections on the 5GHz frequency. With the three built in Ethernet ports, this means both wireless and wired connections at ultra-fast AC750 speeds. The TAP-EX2 is also compatible with any router, making it the perfect Wi-Fi extending solution for any home.
The setup of the TAP-EX2 is done entirely on the touch screen display. After powering on the Extender, the user taps to scan for the Wi-Fi network they would like to extend, then selects that network from the list and setup is complete. The touch screen also allows the user to control many features of the Range Extender including the setup and management of Guest Networks, the Wi-Fi Access Schedule, User Access Controls, the strength of the Wi-Fi signal in Signal Coverage Controls and many other settings.
