Amped Wireless Introduces a Long Range, 802.11ac Wi-Fi Access Point Capable of Delivering up to 8,000 sq. ft. of Coverage

A high power 700mW dual band, 802.11ac Wi-Fi access point, the APA20 features three high gain, 5dBi antennas and ten total power amplifiers. The amplifiers include two 2.4GHz 700mW amplifiers, four 5.0GHz 700mW, 2-Stage amplifiers, and four advanced, low noise amplifiers. The cutting-edge technology packed into the APA20 gives it the ability to stream high-quality media at faster speeds to multiple devices at once, with ease.
The APA20 includes a USB port for file sharing and five gigabit wired ports for connecting to a broadband network and attaching additional wired devices. The APA20 includes an updated user interface, premium software features such as guest networks, adjustable Wi-Fi coverage control and user access control.
Advanced software allows the APA20 to automatically configure itself to a network’s settings without the user’s input or configuration. The APA20 simply connects to the router’s network port, automatically configures itself and creates a new wireless and wired network for connecting wired or wireless computers, printers and other networked devices.
