An Acquisition Made in Heaven: Diversitec, LLC Acquires Edge MCS
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) July 16, 2016 -- Richmond, Virginia based telecommunications integrator and DC power solutions provider Diversitec, LLC announced today that it has reached an agreement to purchase Richmond, Virginia modular data center provider Edge MCS, LLC.

At a time when edge computing is pushing the frontier of computing applications, data, telephony and services away from centralized nodes to the logical extremes of a network, modular data centers are expected to continue aggressive expansion. The worldwide market for modular data centers and related equipment is set to grow from $8.37 billion in 2015 to $35.11 billion by 2020.
According to research agency Markets and Markets, North America is expected to remain the largest modular data center market in terms of size, while Asia-Pacific (APAC) is expected to emerge as a high-growth market.
