Anaheim Lighthouse Announces Key Partnership with P.A.A.R.I., Expanded Treatment and Recovery Options
Anaheim, CA (PRWEB) December 21, 2015 -- In an announcement, that signals an expanded lineup of treatment and recovery options for those struggling with addiction, Anaheim Lighthouse has unveiled a new collaboration with Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative, or P.A.A.R.I. The two organizations will work in harmony to provide compassionate, clinical care for individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse, as well as related mental disorders.
P.A.A.R.I. has championed the importance of personalized, clinical treatment for those gripped by addiction—so an alliance with Anaheim Lighthouse just makes sense. "Anaheim Lighthouse will be able to provide valuable treatment resources on the West Coast, where we have been actively building our network of treatment centers and law enforcement agencies,” comments Chief Leonard Campanello, one of the founders of P.A.A.R.I. “This epidemic is a national issue, and every partner we add to our network ensures that we can continue to help even more participants who struggle with addiction and ensure that no one is turned away.”
Campanello founded P.A.A.R.I. just this summer, alongside entrepreneur John Rosenthal. Their vision for the nonprofit is to work with the police to reduce the rate at which people are arrested for issues related to addiction; instead of seeing these individuals penalized, P.A.A.R.I. hopes to see them placed in facilities where they can get the medical and psychiatric care they need and ultimately to move toward recovery.
As such, the nonprofit is partnering with various treatment centers, of which Anaheim Lighthouse is pleased to be one. "All of us at Anaheim Lighthouse are honored to partner with P.A.A.R.I. on this exciting initiative to help change the lives of those struggling with addiction," affirms Anaheim Lighthouse COO Peter Davidson.
Continues Davidson, “We pride ourselves on our ability to help addicts and their families achieve recovery and live healthy lives, free from the bondage of drugs and alcohol as well as other destructive tendencies. We are extremely fortunate to have such a comfortable, safe, and conveniently located campus and believe that any person can achieve recovery with enough willingness, honesty, and open mindedness.”
Certainly, Anaheim Lighthouse has considerable resources for helping P.A.A.R.I. fulfill its mission. The Anaheim facility encompasses 126 beds and offers a wide array of programs, including on-site detox, outpatient programs, inpatient residential programs, and more. Group counseling and addiction education are also offered.
