Suitland, Maryland (PRWEB) March 02, 2016 -- Andrews Federal Credit Union recently sponsored JROTC, and other local high school students for the East Coast Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. youth breakfast held at the Clubs at Andrews. The theme for the event was “Empowering Our Youth to Ensure the Future.”
Keynote speaker Col. Norvel “Rock” Dillard, United States Army (Ret.), challenged a group of young people, mostly from Junior ROTC units from high schools in Prince George’s County, Maryland, to maintain their focus and to set goals that allow them to go further in life.
“We were honored to sponsor and participate in this prestigious event again this year, ” said Andrews Federal Credit Union’s Rosalind Bishop, Regional Manager DC/MD/VA. “We are always looking for ways to support our local community, and service members in particular. This event afforded us with an opportunity to do both.”
