Suitland, Maryland (PRWEB) May 11, 2017 -- On Friday, May 19, Andrews Federal Credit Union will serve as a sponsor of the 2017 Older American’s Month Health & Wellness Fair, coordinated by Terrific, Inc.
Each May, the Administration for Community Living (ACL) leads our nation’s celebration of Older Americans Month (OAM). This year’s theme, Age Out Loud, gives aging a new voice—one that reflects what today’s older adults have to say.
“We stand on the shoulders of older Americans who have paved the way for the success we experience today,” said Andrews Federal’s Antoine McStay, Brightwood Branch Manager. “It is an honor and privilege to support those who have supported so many.”
The event will be held at Nineteenth Street Baptist Church, 4606 16th Street NW, Washington, DC from 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM and will provide seniors in the District of Columbia with much needed and vital medical screenings and information.
