The deal would help finance content acquisitions, app development and new features projected to allow ANDROID TV™ set top box to maintain its dominance in the marketplace.

Last week, the president of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, Michael Powell, told the Senate that "the largest subscription video provider in the country today is Netflix."
