Animal Behavior College Sees Record-Breaking Enrollment Rates
October 25, 2013, Santa Clarita, CA (PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- Animal Behavior College (ABC) saw record-breaking growth within the company during the last few months. In August and September, ABC’s student enrollment hit unprecedented numbers, surpassing its monthly average by nearly 100 new students. These back-to-back record-breaking student enrollment months show that ABC is the “to go-to school” for those who want a viable career in the pet industry.
“The surging enrollment rates confirm we are the trusted educational institution for pet-related careers,” said Debbie Kendrick, vice president of ABC. “Our ongoing goal is to make a difference in animal lives one student at a time.”
As a result of ABC’s continuing growth, the company has added 11 new staff members to keep up with demand and provide students with positive experiences during their course work and externship. ABC’s programs are distance-learning based; students are paired with a Program Manager who guides them throughout their course work. Once students complete their bookwork, they are assigned an Externship Coordinator who is responsible for placing them in an ABC-approved professional facility for their externship.
ABC currently offers three animal-related career programs. The Dog Obedience Program (DOP) started in 1998. The Veterinary Assistant Program (VAP) was introduced in 2008 and the Grooming Instructor Program began in 2010. All three courses have seen tremendous growth during the course of the last few months. In particular, the Veterinary Assistant Program has the fastest student enrollment rate with more than 7,000 students in the 5 years since the program was launched.
“The high quality of our programs and their affordable price points are just two of the reasons why student enrollments have continued to increase year over year,” said Steven Appelbaum founder and CEO of ABC. “With 2013’s enrollment totals exceeding previous years’ records, we are excited to be helping even more animal lovers fulfill their career dreams.”
