Ann Monster Promotes Developing Intimate Relationship With God
ST. CATHARINES, Ontario (PRWEB) June 19, 2017 -- God and the difficult situations in life that author Ann Monster deems overwhelming or inexplicable inspired her to write the book, “God Glasses” (published by iUniverse). By the age of 35, she was enslaved by anxiety. She recalls one particularly stressful night when she cried out, “God, I would just like to relax for a moment!” Instantly, all anxiety disappeared, the peace of God flowed in and so began a journey of dialogue with the words, “Trust Me!”
“God Glasses” is about developing an intimate relationship with one’s God and then using that relationship to enhance the potentiality of each and every one’s life. The book is scribed through experiences in life with all the ups and down. The book enables readers to realize that God cares deeply for each and everyone regardless of religious beliefs. The book expresses love, understanding, forgiveness, compassion, wisdom and guidance.
“Considering the state of anxiety and violence that dominates our world news on a continuing basis, many of us are in need of relief and hope,” says the author on the relevance of her book in today’s society.
By putting on “God Glasses,” the author hopes that readers will be surprised at how viewing something from God’s perspective can bring healing, acceptance, understanding, hope and wisdom. She also hopes that they will have a renewed and more intimate relationship with their God and a solid sense of hope for the future.

About the Author
Ann Monster was born on 1945 in Montreal, Quebec. She graduated from St. Michael’s School of Nursing in Toronto in 1967. She married Bert Monster in 1968 and became a mother of two. She moved with her family to St. Catherines in 1973 and is still presently residing there. She worked with the Canadian Mental Health Association in conjunction with Ryerson University on a cross Canada study called “Mental Health in the Workplace.” She also volunteered at Hotel Dieu Hospital and became involved with the developmental stage of hospice and received a certificate in Palliative Care from Niagara College. She started writing in the late ‘70s. She eventually became a volunteer at their local hospice and then experienced hospice on the receiving end when her husband of 46 years gave up his four year battle with cancer.
