"The new Lakeview Self Storage location is the largest of all the Lock Up locations nationwide with two separate buildings totalling 112,700 square feet and 1,400 climate controlled self storage units," says Andrea Carnes, Vice President of Operations for The Lock Up Self Storage. "In order to best serve the storage needs of the bustling neighborhoods of North Center, Roscoe Village, and the many pockets of Lake View, we knew our clients would need a lot of options. We transformed an old factory into a top of the line self storage facility and built an entirely separate four story building on the property that houses over 1000 units of climate controlled storage units, including climate controlled drive up units that are protected by an electronic coded security gate."
Each building features two drive in load in bays that provide protection from the harsh Chicago elements while tenants load and unload their belongings. Once inside, clients have access to free hand carts and large passenger elevators. And in an effort to make things even easier for their clients, The Lock Up Lake View has a move in truck that is free to use with each new storage unit rental. In addition to these features, the new facility also has amenities that clients have come to expect from The Lock Up such as carpeted interior hallways and units, a free lock for each storage unit and motion sensitive lighting that helps reduce energy consumption.

To ensure tenants' peace of mind, the Lock Up in Lake View has 24 hour security camera monitoring and electronic code keypads at every entry point to both buildings to ensure that only tenants have access to the property and storage units.
