Annual Traditions a High Mark for the 2016 iaedp™ Symposium
Pekin, IL (PRWEB) January 29, 2016 -- When the 2016 iaedp Symposium officially opens on Feb. 17 at the Omni on Amelia Island, Florida, it will begin as it has for the past 29 years with the traditional Presentation of the Colors by the local Civil Air Patrol Cadets, followed by the iaedp Chapter State Flags and International Flags -- honoring the professionals who come together each year to advance learning, share groundbreaking information and engage with the world’s most renowned and committed eating disorders professionals.
“The iaedp International and iaedp Chapter State Flags celebrate and honor our national and international chapters,” said Bonnie Harken, Managing Director of The iaedp Foundation. “This year professionals will attend from not only the U.S., but also Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Mexico.”
In fact, this year’s Symposium features three sessions presented in Spanish only, addressing the latest in eating disorder treatment, causes and science – much like the other 40 sessions that are in English. The 30th annual iaedp Symposium will take place over a five-day period, Feb. 17 – 21, and will feature presentations, workshops and various special events. Registration information can be found at iaedp.com.
