APCPLAY Brings New Ways to Have Fun at the YMCA of Corsicana with New Playground
Corsicana, TX (PRWEB) April 15, 2016 -- APCPLAY, a premiere provider of playground equipment, has recently completed a playground installation project for the YMCA of Corsicana, located in Corsicana, Texas.
The YMCA of Corsicana has been serving the East Texas town with community programs since the late 1800’s. They offer physical fitness programs for kids and adults, team sports, summer camps, after-school care programs, and more. They also host fundraising events that the whole community can participate in. Their current facility, originally constructed in 1968, has been renovated twice, most recently in 2000.
The YMCA’s facility just got a whole lot more exciting, though, with the addition of a brand new outdoor playground from APCPLAY. The “Wallaby Way” playground structure entertains up to 18 kids at a time in the 5 to 12 age group. It includes a tall Wave Slide and a Tic-Tac-Toe Panel that are sure to bring endless entertainment at play time. To add physical challenges, the structure has a Bubble Ladder and Rock Climber Wall that will help children exercise and build confidence. The Versa Panel and Steering Wheel offer imaginative play opportunities at ground level, creating accessible and inclusive play activities, as well.
APCPLAY’s professional installation team finished the playground installation project by adding safety surfacing to the playground in the form of engineered wood fiber. This is one of a handful of materials that meets national safety guidelines for playground safety to protect children from impact injuries while they play. The Executive Director at the YMCA of Corsicana expressed his satisfaction with the services APCPLAY provided. The YMCA will use this new addition to their facility to continue to enrich the lives of the Corsicana community, as they have been doing for over 100 years.
