APCPLAY® Creates a Fun New Playground for Students of Ida Greene Lower Elementary (MS)

The innovative elementary school in Belzoni, Missouri made an investment in fitness and outdoor learning for its students.
The administration of the school picked the “Cayman Islands” commercial play structure from APCPLAY, which provides engaging activities for up to 30 children aged 5 to 12 years old. The large play structure is packed with nine different experiences for group or independent play.
It houses a Chute Slide, which is a favorite among kids who enjoy a quick trip; the raised safety rails make sure kids have a safe sliding experience. The Wave Slide is an exhilarating experience while the Triple Rail Slide allows children to race friends to the bottom in tandem.
The Bubble Wall Climber is designed to be visually engaging and physically challenging for kids, and provides playground experience that doubles as an upper- and lower-body workout. This, of course, will help the elementary students develop important muscle groups early in their childhood. The Straight Crawl Tunnel adds more adventure when coupled with the Quick Climber for alternative ways to scale to the top deck of this fun playground structure.
The “Cayman Islands” structure is ADA accessible for inclusive play and children of all abilities. Engineered wood fiber was selected as the safety surfacing and was installed to create an effective fall dampening material for children at play. The playground equipment meets all Consumer Product Safety Commission, ASTM, and IPEMA safety requirements, so the school made a very informed and conscientious decision thanks to the help of the playground professionals at APCPLAY.
