API Announces New International Internships
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- Academic Programs International (API) is excited to announce a new series of full-time internship programs in 6 different international destinations - Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Dublin, London, Santiago, and Seville. Internships are available to both American and international students in a wide-variety of fields on fixed and flexible schedules, and offer the option to receive academic credit.
“Our goal with these new international internships is to help students and recent graduates from around the world enhance their resumes with the work experience, soft skills, and global outlook that employers are seeking in this competitive and global job market” said Barbara M. Internships are available throughout the year in 8-week fixed start dates, or multi-week flexible start dates. As with API's study abroad programs, these new internships include a host of pre-departure, on-site, and reentry services in the standard fee, including: confirmation of tailored internship placement; pre-departure preparation and 3-day workplace and cultural orientation; access to the @api online internship training system; career assessment resources; workplace and culture orientation; housing; 24/7 access to API's on-site directors; mobile phone; academic oversight; internship placement oversight and assistance; and academic credit (through Marist College for an additional fee).
