Apple Rehab Rocky Hill Helps Fulfill A Resident’s Dream to See Tom Petty in Concert
Rocky Hill, CT (PRWEB) August 29, 2017 -- Apple Rehab Rocky Hill recently collaborated with the Dream Foundation, Live Nation and Masonicare Partners Hospice so its patient Tom R. could attend a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers concert with his wife, Susan, in Hartford, CT.
“In order for Tom to be comfortable and enjoy the concert, we rented two portable oxygen tanks,” said Laura Anderson, Admissions Coordinator at Apple Rehab Rocky Hill. “Tom and Susan, who have been married for 26 years, are big Tom Petty fans and had seen a concert years ago when they first started dating, and with this being a 40th anniversary tour it was special to the two of them.”
The Dream Foundation purchased the tickets for the couple. The Dream Foundation is the only national dream-granting organization whose Dreams touch lives and play a critical role in the special end-of-life care that focuses on improving quality of life for Dreamers and their families.
“We had a wonderful time at the concert and were treated like royalty by Live Nation,” said Susan. “It was critical that Apple Rehab Rocky Hill provided the two new oxygen tanks that made the trip possible. We will treasure this dream for the rest of our lives.”
