APT Chairman Jim Manzi Will Present Keynote at Washington Post’s Innovation through Collaboration Forum

The Innovation through Collaboration Forum brings together government leaders, economists, and policymakers to discuss the most successful models and approaches for collaborations in defense, aerospace, and more. Mr. Manzi’s keynote speech will focus on the role of government in innovation. Other speakers include Cristin Dorgelo, the White House Chief of Staff in the Office of Science and Technology Policy; John Delaney, House Representative from Maryland; and Maria Contreras-Sweet, Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Jim Manzi is a foremost authority on using pattern recognition to optimize business strategy. Prior to founding APT, Mr. Manzi was a Vice President at Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting), where he spent ten years directing corporate strategy and marketing optimization assignments across a wide array of industries on five continents. Previously, Mr. Manzi oversaw the development of PC-based pattern recognition software at the Data Networks Division of AT&T Laboratories. Mr. Manzi received a BS in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is the author of Uncontrolled: The Surprising Payoff of Trial-and-Error for Business, Politics, and Society.
