Arasan Announces Industry's First SoundWire v1.1 Master & Slave IP Controller Cores
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) August 17, 2016 -- Arasan today announced the immediate availability of its MIPI SoundWire Master & Slave IP cores compliant to the latest MIPI SoundWire Specification v1.1. Arasan’s SoundWire IP Cores are fully configurable across multiple parameters through simple scripts based on the customer's specifications making it suitable for a variety of audio applications. Arasan’s SoundWire IP has been validated and is readily usable with VIP from major EDA Vendors.
The major differences between v1.0 and v1.1 are:
- Configurable port direction - allows the Data Port to be either Sink or Source at run time
- Reduced Data Port - specifies certain optional features and registers to provide more flexibility compared to Simplified Data Port
- BRA Failure interrupt
- Other clarifications, fixing of typos etc.
