ArcheMedX and NACCME Announce Launch of a 5-Part Educational Series to Improve the Treatment of Patients with Psoriasis and Extend Successful Collaboration
Charlottesville, VA (PRWEB) January 08, 2016 -- Following the success of two highly effective educational initiatives, ArcheMedX and North American Center for Continuing Medical Education, LLC (NACCME) are pleased to announce an expanded collaboration with the launch of a new online educational series designed to improve the assessment and treatment of patients with psoriasis. This innovative e-learning program, supported by an educational grant from Lilly USA, LLC, is comprised of five interactive web-based activities for nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) and is powered by the ArcheViewer, a data-driven e-learning and real-time analytics platform.
Since the onset of the collaboration between NACCME and ArcheMedX, a total of 13 online activities have launched, including five from the most recent initiative, Strategies To Improve The Assessment And Treatment Of Psoriasis: A Roadmap For NPs And PAs. The first e-learning programs developed in collaboration between NACCME and ArcheMedX, Evidence-Based Approaches For Achieving Full Clearance In Nail Psoriasis and Patient-Centric Care Strategies For Early And Advanced Parkinson’s Disease, have achieved tremendous impact since launching earlier in 2015. The continued success, including exceptional completion rates and high levels of learner engagement, can be attributed to the more interactive nature of the learning activities.
Interspersed throughout the activities are a series of Educator Notes and interactive polls designed by faculty to prompt learners to reflect and take action at the right moments, driving them to review additional related resources (i.e., journal articles, clinical studies, and practice tools) made available directly within the ArcheViewer. These “nudges” encourage learners to more actively participate throughout the e-learning activities, enabling them to absorb critical lessons more efficiently and move newly learned concepts into long-term memory.

• Respond to in-lesson polling
• Set personal reminders with the click of a button
• Explore relevant resources collated by faculty
• Submit questions to faculty
