Architectural Firm UDG Promotes Scott Norman to Principal
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 11, 2014 -- Urban Design Group (UDG), a multidisciplinary architectural firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott T. Norman, AIA, LEED AP, to the position of Principal with the firm. Norman joined UDG in 2004, and he has served as a tremendous asset to the team in terms of managing the design studio and maintaining positive client relationships. Norman was named as an Associate Principal in 2012, and has been groomed to step into a full leadership role with the firm.
As a Principal, Norman will be involved in all aspects of firm management from operations and design management to practice management and business development. As part of the firm’s leadership team, Norman will be involved in strategic business planning and helping the company overall set policy. He will also continue his work to ensure high standards in design and contract documents.

Norman has 33 years of experience in the architectural industry. His vast portfolio includes work with clients in many sectors including: entertainment/gaming, hospitality, convention/civic centers, religious, education, office and retail/mall projects. Norman holds both a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Auburn University. He is a registered Architect in the state of Georgia and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
