The house was built on the principle of the modular and evolutive architecture of St. Barth. Between 1978 and 1987, Mr. Monsaingeon built a new module every few years to accommodate his growing family. He showed great regard for the natural landscape of the island by integrating the presence of a large boulder into the design of one of the bathrooms.
The Tarpys have left their special stamp including an imported Mexican wood-burning kiln and claw foot tub in the master bath. They also make the property available as a vacation rental.

Pierre is a true genius in addition to being a larger than life spirit and it has been an honor to call his creation home for these past two decades.”
